Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency class of F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2023 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++.

LED lights that are now rated F or G were often previously rated A+++ and are still extremely efficient. This change doesn't mean the products are inferior, but rather that the scale has become more stringent. Even LED lights rated F or G are among the best on the market and continue to offer significant energy savings. The new scale ensures that consumers can more easily compare and identify energy-efficient products.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes! The pendant light comes with five matching E14 LED bulbs. The included bulbs have a very warm 2700K color temperature and provide a cozy light. Of course, you can also use your own LEDs.

How do I turn the light on and off?

Once the light has been installed, you can simply turn it on and off using a light switch.

Can I integrate the light into my smart home system?

Sure! All you need are suitable E14 LEDs that are compatible with your smart home system. The included LEDs are not smart home compatible, but you can of course replace them with LEDs of your choice.

How do I attach the glass balls?

Unlike conventional lights with glass globes, we've dispensed with a plug-in mechanism, as this often leads to crooked installation and can scratch the glass. The glass globes of the Livana pendant light have a thread that allows them to be easily screwed into the holder. Make sure you only tighten the glass globes gently, as otherwise they will be difficult to remove.
