Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency class from E, F or G?

The evaluation scale for energy efficiency was revised in 2023 in order to make it clearer and more future -proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A ++ and A +++.

LED lights, which are now rated f or g, were often A +++ and are still extremely efficient. This change does not mean that the products are worse, but that the scale has become stricter. Even LED lights with F or G are among the best on the market and continue to offer high energy savings. The new scale ensures that consumers can better compare and recognize energy -efficient products.

Can I also mount the ceiling lamp on a wall?

The ceiling lamp is not suitable for wall mounting, since the LED cover that break the light and ensure a pleasant lighting experience are not firmly screwed, but are in the light due to gravity. With wall mounting, the LED cover would not remain in their intended position.

Is the ceiling lamp dimmable?

No, the ceiling lamp is not dimmable. At the Aurelia ceiling lamp, we deliberately decided against dimmable LEDs, since ceiling lights are primarily used to illuminate a room and less to design a cozy ambient. Nevertheless, we chose the color temperature with 3000 K so that the lamp can both generate a cozy photo and illuminate a room completely. Aurelia thus creates the balancing act between space illumination and cosiness.

Can I replace the LEDs?

The LEDs of the ceiling light can only be replaced by a specialist or our repair service. Since we use high -quality components from Osram for our LED components, the probability that the LEDs break after a while is very low. The lamp is also covered by our 5 -year guarantee.
